About Midlife Matters

Hi, I’m Zxybryul.

I’m a wife, mom, and HR professional who has spent the last several years figuring out what midlife actually means — not what it’s supposed to mean.

Here’s what surprised me: midlife hasn’t looked the way I expected physically. Some areas I’ve made real progress. Others I’m still working through — the fatigue, the sleep, the nutrition. I suspect many of you know exactly what I mean.

What’s changed most isn’t how I feel in my body — it’s how I think about time.

Somewhere in this season I became deeply aware that the years ahead are precious and finite. That awareness has created something in me that feels less like fear and more like urgency. A quiet but persistent push to stop waiting and start living more intentionally.

I’ve also spent a long time wanting to build something of my own. Something meaningful. Something that helps people. I’ve started and stopped more times than I’d like to admit — and I’m done pretending that isn’t true.

I’ll be honest — even writing this feels vulnerable. Putting yourself out there, being truly seen, doesn’t come naturally to me. But I’ve come to believe that the very thing that feels most scary to share is usually the thing someone else most needs to hear.

Midlife Matters is me finally showing up. For myself and for you.

I'm not here as someone who has it all figured out. I'm here as someone who is navigating this season honestly — and who is committed to creating a space where you can too.

Because I believe midlife deserves more honesty than it usually gets. Not toxic positivity. Not surface level tips. Just real talk from someone who is navigating it right alongside you.

If that resonates — I’m really glad you’re here.
